Description

Hold responsibility for the overall solution design and validation of the project, managing an average of 5 simultaneous projects (depending on project size). Review and understand the project scope. Participate in internal and client kick-off meetings to establish the client relationship and begin addressing design-related questions. Travel on-site for 1-2 weeks per warehouse to conduct workshops with the client to review their items, operations, and goals. Become an expert in the client’s processes and goals, then design the EasyWMS solution and configuration required for the project. Design communication interfaces with external systems (e.g., ERP, carrier integrators), including the selection of communication protocols and defining the structure and message content. Define hardware requirements necessary for the solution, including printers, scanners, and other equipment. Define and write all test scenarios that will be performed on the solution to determine its working correctly. Support the technical team with any questions related to the design, development, and configuration of the solution. Validate the solution internally and ensure all test scenarios pass before validating with the client and obtaining written confirmation. Validate interface communications with external systems according to the design documentation. Perform a final on-site validation of the solution using real warehouse conditions, stock, equipment, and hardware to ensure everything functions as intended. Assist on-site during the final preparation week. Evaluate the design’s success post-go-live and identify areas for improvement or issues that need correction. Supervise, Coach and mentor members of the Design Lead team. Lead and support the development of innovative solutions and methodologies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field plus 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, supply chains, and logistics; 2 years of experience managing multiple warehouse design projects simultaneously; 2 years of experience implementing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); 2 years of experience working with agile software teams across onshore/offshore locations; 2 years of experience leading and supporting the development of innovative solutions and methodologies; and 2 years of experience in managing multiple high-value customer accounts. 20% domestic and international travel.
