Clinical Practice
Faculty provide comprehensive Acute Care Surgery services, including trauma, emergency general surgery, and surgical critical care.

Call Responsibilities
Faculty rotate through:
- Acute Care Surgery call, including trauma, emergency general surgery, and initial resuscitation of burn patients
- Surgical ICU attending weeks covering patients from all surgical specialties

Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited General Surgery residency
- Fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Eligible for Texas medical licensure; Texas Medical Board licensure must be obtained before the hire or transfer date
