Speech Pathologist - Paediatric Neurodevelopmental Assessment
Dynamic allied health private practice in Mount Pleasant, Perth (WA), Australia.

Speech Pathology Assessment (speech and language and autism spectrum disorder).
Complete multidisciplinary neurodevelopmental assessments, autism spectrum disorder and specific learning disorder in literacy, paired with a Clinical or Clinical Neuropsychologist.
Millstream Paediatrics provides autism assessment services from their Mount Pleasant clinic and, from time to time, also engages in team-based state-wide travel (drive-in/drive-out or fly-in/fly-out).

Role Description
Permanent Remuneration: Comprising base salary between $90,000 - $110,000 per annum + superannuation + PD allowance + incentive opportunities. Contract opportunities can be discussed if preferred.
Employment Type: Full Time or Part Time, Permanent or contract.
Millstream Paediatrics highly values speech pathology. Are you a Speech Pathologist looking to extend your competencies in the area of neurodevelopmental assessment?
Leverage from your already acquired experience to be supported into the area of evidence-based, comprehensive autism assessments as part of a multidisciplinary team, working with a Clinical Psychologist or Clinical Neuropsychologist and our in-clinic Paediatrician?
We can provide supervision, training and support in this area if needed to build on your current experience in speech pathology.
We are seeking an experienced and family-centred speech pathologist who is either experienced in ASD assessment, or is motivated to become an assessor in autism spectrum disorder assessment, including administering the ADOS-2 and speech and language assessments, clinical interviewing, differential diagnoses, comprehensive report writing and providing thorough feedback sessions with families.
As an assessing Speech Pathologist, you will be working as part of a collaborative team of psychologists, working from the clinic and also from time to time completing regional assessments that given you unique exposure to with diverse populations, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, where you can extend your practice in cultural awareness and culturally sensitive ways.
