Description

The Sales Account Executive generates advertising revenue through the sale of broadcast television and digital advertising solutions. This position develops relationships with established clients and advertising agencies, identifies new business opportunities through prospecting and cold-calling, and demonstrates the value of integrated broadcast and digital marketing strategies to potential advertisers.

The Sales Account Executive serves businesses throughout Central Pennsylvania, helping local advertisers connect with their target audiences through effective multimedia advertising campaigns.

Essential Duties:

Implements strategies to consistently grow broadcast and digital advertising revenue and exceed revenue goals.

• Establishes credible relationships with businesses and advertising agencies throughout the local community.
• Makes sales calls on existing and prospective clients to identify advertising needs and develop new business opportunities.
• Maintains assigned accounts and develops new accounts across broadcast television and digital advertising platforms.
• Prepares and delivers sales presentations to clients, recommending advertising solutions that align with their marketing objectives.
• Explains to customers how broadcast television, digital advertising, and integrated marketing campaigns can effectively promote their products or services.
• Provides clients with information regarding advertising rates, available products, and placement opportunities across broadcast and digital media.
• Develops advertising schedules and campaigns with clients and station personnel responsible for coordinating advertising placement.
• Works with clients and station personnel to develop advertisements and digital creative materials that support client marketing goals.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
• Minimum one year's experience in sales, preferably in broadcast media, digital advertising, or a related field.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Experience achieving long-range objectives and implementing the strategies and actions necessary to achieve them.
• Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, and other office equipment, with the ability to learn advertising sales and digital media platforms.
