Job Description

• Strategic responsibility for a defined product line throughout its entire lifecycle
• Development and implementation of product strategies in alignment with corporate goals
• Conducting market, competitive, and customer analyses to identify growth opportunities
• Defining product requirements and collaborating closely with R&D, Sales, and Marketing
• Management of product launches (go-to-market strategies), including pricing and positioning concepts
• Monitoring of KPIs, revenue and margin trends, and derivation of optimization measures
• Responsibility for budget planning and control of the product line
• Ensuring clear product communication internally and externally
• Supporting sales through training, presentations, and product documentation

Qualification

• Master's degree in physics or a related field
• Strong technical understanding with extensive experience in product marketing or sales
• Professional experience in a similar role within the technical components industry (ideally in the field of laser diodes)
• A dedicated, open-minded individual who enjoys acting as a liaison between sales/customers and production/development
• Entrepreneurial, strategic, and customer- and market-oriented thinking
• A structured, analytical, precise, and process-oriented approach to work
• Excellent communication skills in German and English, willingness to travel internationally, and proficiency in MS Office
