Salary/Wage:
$50,000 - $70,000/yr. (based on experience)

Job Summary/Description:
The ideal candidate tracks current events and delivers news stories in a clear, engaging, and impartial manner. They stay informed by monitoring news sources, reviewing newspapers and publications, and attending relevant community events and press opportunities as needed.
Responsibilities include collaborating daily with MMJs, the Assignment Manager, and the Assistant News Director to develop and execute a fast-paced, smoothly sequenced, and fact-based newscast. The anchor helps shape rundowns and story priorities, communicates clearly with the production team to ensure timing and transitions are tight, and confirms key facts and details before going to air. They also remain flexible with breaking news and live changes, maintaining a calm, professional delivery throughout the broadcast.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Degree in journalism or communications, computer literacy, including newsroom computer systems
- Minimum two (2) years of experience reporting as an MMJ in a broadcast newsroom
- Videography and non-linear editing experience
