Job Summary/Description:

The Ingest Operator will Record / QC / trim broadcast programming and enter timing information into multiple automation server databases. Some basic video editing may also be required.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Performs all duties of the ingest function, including recording, trimming broadcast programming, and entering timing information into multiple automation server databases. QC content coming into the systems. Managing multiple broadcast video automation server databases. Basic video editing of certain programming elements.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Technical proficiency and operational knowledge of Grass Valley Morpheus, Crispin automation, and DBI automation would be fantastic.
• Extensive knowledge of all media formats and platforms, including Telestream automation systems, i.e., Vantage and other similar video transcoders
• Able to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Three years of broadcast operations experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Detail oriented
• Positive, can-do attitude
