Job Summary/Description:
Live and Play in one of the fastest-growing cities in the Nation. The weather isn't bad either. WBTV 3 in Charlotte, NC, is looking for a creative and engaging Videographer/editor/segment producer for its weekday lifestyle shows, QC Life at 9 am and 3 pm. If you know how to create engaging sponsored and creative content on all platforms, this is the gig for you. The ideal candidate is creative, has excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Produce, shoot, edit and create engaging creative and sponsored content for sales clients on-air and digitally.
- Edit the QC life shows at 9am & 3pm
- Collaborate with the QC producers & hosts to develop and implement effective content ideas.
- Help book and prioritize segments and stories.
- Assisting producers with writing segments when needed.
- Greeting and assisting guests during show preparations.
- Stay up to date with Charlotte area events and culture.
- Assist with all digital content, including social media pages for the show.
- Other projects as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment.
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of digital programs & social media strategies
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.).
- Ability to shoot on multiple camera types
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
- Available to work nights and weekends as needed.
- Must be willing to work onsite in Charlotte, NC
