Overview

Maple Chase Golf and Country Club is an 18-hole Private Elis Maples Design Golf Course located in Winston Salem, North Carolina.

We are currently searching for a self motivated individual that will assist the Head Golf Professional in the management of day-to-day golf operations of the facility. This individual will also assist in supervising and managing total golf operations in the absence of the Head Golf Professional.

Individual must have a passion for the game of Golf and the desire to maintain and upkeep their playing ability. This results in opportunities to play golf with members at the club and represent the club in CPGA Tournaments and Pro-Ams.

Maple Chase is a great place for an individual to grow as a Professional in the Golf Industry.

Experience Required

• PGA member preferred, PGA Associate will be considered
• Previous work experience at a private club preferred
• Proficiency in POS Software and Golf Genius
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn
• Strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills

Essential Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for overseeing and facilitating Senior Interclub and PGA Jr League
• Directly responsible for overseeing Outside Operations Staff
• Assist with the administration of Outside Operations Staff via recordkeeping, work schedules, payroll etc. in accordance with facility human resource policies.
• Directly responsible for overseeing opening/correctly blocking tee sheet.
• Assist with golfer check in and fee collection; control and manage play.
• Assist with all opening and closing procedures.
• Assist in managing facility tournament operations including weekly member events.
• Assist in management of outside service staff to ensure the highest quality of customer service is achieved.
• Assist in managing golf car operation, practice facility and club storage services.
• Conduct individual lessons and occasionally assist with group clinics.
• Assist members with club repair.
• Assist with men's, women's, and junior golf events and programs.
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a professional image at all times.
• Assist in coordinating golf activities with other departments.
• Maintain Club Communications, emails, phone calls and verbal communication.
