Job Description:
Works with Segment Lead, LOB Lead, Marketing & LOB to execute programs. Accountable for end-to-end event execution including detailed budget creation, sourcing, invitation creation, agenda development, GEMS/cVent site, attendee management, logistics planning (menus/AV/IT), pre/post-event reporting, invoice processing, event reconciliation.
This job is responsible for developing the event strategies that achieve line of business goals and priorities. Key responsibilities include partnering with the Events Segment Executives to develop strategic objectives, budget, and execution planning; in addition to, coordinating the end-to-end planning, management, and execution of events. Job expectations include traveling to events, managing event activity and overseeing vendors onsite with teammates.
Responsibilities:
- Partners with the Event Segment Lead, line of business, Communications, Marketing, and other partners to develop the objectives, budget and execution plan for each program and for overall yearly plan of the line business event portfolio
- Advises and provides direction and input on overall event plan to additionally assigned vendor planners
- Manages end-to-end event execution including detailed budget creation, sourcing, invitation creation, planning technology tools, attendee management, logistics planning (menus/audio visual/technology), pre and post event reporting, invoice processing, and event reconciliation
- Ensures events are planned within company guidelines and manages the risks associated with events to protect the brand; engages Compliance, Legal, Risk, Corporate Security and Corporate Communication partners as needed
- Coordinates the planning, management and execution of complex events, both in person and virtual
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of event planning and execution experience or equivalent work experience
- Extensive knowledge of event planning processes including contracting, logistics, onsite execution, budget management and reconciliation
- Stakeholder management, including experience with external partners
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including demonstrated executive presence
- Strong organizational skills, must be detail oriented
- The ability to adjust to new or changing situations
- Conveys a strong interest and eagerness, showing a passion for the work and a positive approach
- Travel 30-40% time
Minimum education: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent

Pay and benefits information
Pay range
$83,500.00 - $114,500.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
Discretionary incentive eligible
This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
