Description

Our client is a specialist private-markets investment platform investing in infrastructure opportunities arising from digital transformation and the global energy transition.

They are seeking a senior capital-formation professional to lead institutional fundraising across Hong Kong, Greater China, and selected Asia-Pacific markets. You will own investor targeting, pipeline management, fundraising materials, conversion activity, and investor onboarding, working closely with senior investment leadership.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a focused institutional-investor target list, relationship strategy, contact plan, and probability-weighted fundraising forecast.
• Lead prospective investors from introduction through diligence, subscription, and onboarding.
• Own investor presentations, DDQs, RFPs, data-room content, track-record materials, Q&A, and follow-up communications.
• Coordinate regional investor meetings and roadshows, ensuring senior management time is focused on priority opportunities.
• Maintain accurate CRM records covering investor activity, decision timelines, next actions, blockers, referrals, and conversion metrics.
• Ensure fundraising and marketing activity remains within relevant licensing, compliance, and cross-border regulatory requirements.
• Support ongoing investor communications and help develop repeatable investor-coverage processes.

Requirements

• 10+ years' experience in private-markets fundraising, institutional sales, placement, investor relations, or alternatives distribution.
• Referenceable experience personally raising capital, ideally including conversion of new or cornerstone institutional investors.
• Strong product knowledge in infrastructure, private credit, structured investments, real assets, renewables, or adjacent alternative strategies.
• Able to communicate investment structures, downside protections, and risk-return characteristics credibly to sophisticated institutional investors.
• Established relationships across Hong Kong, Greater China, and Asia-Pacific institutional-investor markets.
• Excellent English writing and presentation skills; Mandarin and/or Cantonese is advantageous.
• Highly organised, commercially minded, and disciplined in CRM, DDQ, and compliance processes.
