GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Perform CST functions (client-level information technology support) and perform configuration, management, investigation and initial diagnostics of information systems in support of the Air Force's Cyber Warfare Formal Training Courses.
DUTIES
Perform a variety of communications activities including desktop support, tracking local network/system trouble tickets and coordinating support actions with the Enterprise Support Desk and/or Communications Focal Point
Set up service for internal and external customers to include installing, connecting, testing, and adjusting equipment
Address trouble tickets within established priorities and response time
Run system diagnostics; determine the causes of hardware, software and network system failures; and document all information systems repairs via local ticketing system
Remove and replace components and peripherals to restore system operations
Install and configure software operating systems and applications
Provide and maintain computer support systems hardware/software maintenance records
Install, maintain, and repair computer and electronic systems for internal and external networks
Conduct routine and hands-on system touch maintenance for over 1000-2000 desktop systems, peripheral devices, mission and TMS systems; growth is expected here
Perform repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications for internal and external networks
Monitor information systems for security compliance and provide patch maintenance for internal and external customers
Develop training materials and procedures, and train users in the proper use of hardware or software
Confer with staff, users, and management to establish requirements for new systems or modifications
Other Duties as Assigned
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Must have a TS/SCI clearance
DoDI 8570.1m IAT Level II certification
Associate's Degree and 4 years experience OR High School/GED and 7 years experience

Must be able to walk or stand on level and/or inclined surfaces and sit for extended periods of time.

Must be able to routinely grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbows / knees, and reach above / below shoulders.
Works in a normal office environment with controlled temperature and lighting conditions.
