Key Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, ensuring a holistic understanding of their conditions.
• Creating and implementing custom evidence-based treatment plans designed to meet specific client goals and preferences.
• Delivering individual, couples, and group therapy through various modalities suited to the diverse backgrounds of our clientele.
• Collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team of mental health professionals to coordinate client care and optimize treatment outcomes.

Qualifications

• A valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia is required.
• A Master's degree in clinical mental health counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Ability to assess and treat a variety of mental health disorders with proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively build rapport with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective engagement with clients and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience providing telehealth counseling is preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in mental health counseling, including group therapy facilitation experience.
