Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Assistant Golf Professional to join our professional staff. This position plays a key role in daily golf operations, member engagement, tournament coordination, and golf instruction. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the game, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering a top-tier golf experience.

Essential Responsibilities

Golf Operations & Member Services

• Assist in the overall management of daily golf operations, including tee sheet management, pace of play monitoring, and enforcement of club policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
• Oversee the golf shop, including retail sales, inventory management, and merchandising.
• Assist in coordinating and managing tournaments, member events, and leagues.
• Conduct club fittings, re-gripping, and minor club repairs.

Instruction & Player Development

• Offer private lessons and clinics to members of all skill levels.
• Assist with junior golf programs, player development initiatives, and new golfer engagement.
• Stay up to date with teaching trends and technology to enhance instructional offerings.

Outside Services & Golf Car Operations

• Supervise outside operations staff, ensuring smooth management of bag storage, cart fleet, and practice facilities.
• Ensure that golf cars are properly maintained and charged, and that the practice area is well-stocked and organized.

Other Duties

• Assist in managing golf club communications, including newsletters, social media, and member updates.
• Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the club's high standards of conduct.
• Support club-wide initiatives and assist in other departments as needed.
