Organization Overview:
Since 1984, Ronald McDonald House Charities Oklahoma City (RMHCOKC) has provided a home away from home to families with children who are ill or injured. We provide essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families, and promote healthcare when children need healing.
We currently offer 40 overnight guest rooms, as well as a daytime respite room and essential resources for families whose children are receiving care at Oklahoma Children’s Hospital. A new 28guest room facility will open in 2026 to serve families at three additional partner hospitals.
Position Summary:
The Annual Giving and Stewardship Manager, reporting to the Chief Development Officer, plays a key role in advancing Ronald McDonald House Charities Oklahoma City’s fundraising efforts through annual giving campaigns, donor stewardship, sponsorship management, and fundraising events. This position is responsible for creating meaningful donor experiences, supporting donor retention efforts, coordinating event execution, and ensuring excellence in donor communications and stewardship activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Annual Giving & Donor Engagement
- Coordinate and execute annual giving campaigns across multiple channels including direct mail, email, online giving, peer-to-peer fundraising, and social campaigns.
- Support annual donor acquisition, retention, and engagement strategies to grow annual fundraising revenue and participation.
- Manage and grow the organization’s monthly giving program, including donor acquisition, stewardship, retention, and campaign strategy.
- Assist with the development and implementation of donor cultivation and stewardship plans.
- Track annual giving performance metrics and assist with reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications staff to develop donor-centered messaging, appeals, and stewardship communications.
- Assist with donor research and identification of prospective supporters.
Stewardship & Donor Relations
- Oversee donor acknowledgment processes to ensure timely, accurate, and meaningful donor recognition.
- Coordinate stewardship activities including donor impact reporting, recognition programs, and cultivation opportunities.
- Ensure sponsorship benefits and donor recognition commitments are fulfilled accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain accurate donor records and support donor data integrity within the CRM/database.
- Help foster a culture of gratitude and exceptional donor experience throughout the organization.
- Assist in preparing donor correspondence, presentations, and stewardship materials.
Event Management & Sponsorship Support
- Lead planning and execution of fundraising events and donor engagement activities in collaboration with the Chief Development Officer and event committees.
- Coordinate event logistics including timelines, vendor management, sponsorship fulfillment, volunteer coordination, registration, auction support, and event communications.
- Develop event production schedules, run-of-show documents, and post-event evaluations.
- Track event revenue, expenses, sponsorships, and attendance metrics.
- Support efforts to strengthen corporate and community partnerships through exceptional stewardship and event experiences.
Collaboration & Support
- Work collaboratively with development, marketing, and program staff to support organizational fundraising goals.
- Assist with budget tracking and departmental administrative functions as assigned.
- Represent RMHC-OKC professionally within the community and at organizational events.
- Participate in occasional evening and weekend activities related to fundraising and donor engagement.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission of RMHC-OKC.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, nonprofit events, or development.
- Experience coordinating fundraising events and donor stewardship activities preferred.
- Proficiency with donor databases/CRMs and Microsoft Office Suite.

Working Conditions
Environment:
Primarily professional office environment with occasional local travel to program locations, donor meetings and events.
Physical Demands: May involve occasional activities such as event setup or site visits, requiring the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and climb stairs.
Schedule: Standard office hours are Monday–Friday; occasional evenings, weekends, and in-state travel required for events and donor activities.
Employment Status: Full-time exempt position. May include some evenings and weekends; hours must be flexible to accommodate development needs and scheduled events, including some travel across the state. Reports to the Chief Development Officer.
