Position Description
As an Account Lead you will manage all aspects of client service. As the link between the agency and our clients, your mission will be to anticipate client needs and provide guidance in helping them achieve strategic, sustainable market positioning and implementation, all while staying on track with budget and deadlines. Your forward-thinking, inclusive approach ensures no missed opportunities. Your passion and industry know-how make you a go-to resource for all things agriculture, and especially livestock. You will work with agency resources to meet agency and client needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Strategic Value: Build strong, trusted relationships with clients by consistently delivering high-value thinking, measurable results and forward-leaning strategies rooted in agricultural expertise.
- Know the Business Inside Out: Demonstrate deep fluency in the client’s industry—especially livestock and agribusiness—including key market dynamics, evolving trends and competitive pressures.
- Lead with Insight & Intelligence: Drive the development and presentation of strategic, insight-rich marketing plans, integrated campaigns and growth initiatives that align with business objectives and budget realities.
- Champion AI-Enabled Thinking: Identify and apply AI-driven tools, platforms and efficiencies to improve client outcomes, increase internal productivity and unlock new possibilities.
- Collaborate & Orchestrate: Lead cross-functional agency teams with clarity and influence, ensuring tight execution of strategy while maintaining creative and operational excellence.
- Be the Trusted Voice: Act as the confident, solutions-oriented day-to-day voice of the agency, providing sound counsel and consistent leadership to both clients and internal teams.
- Problem Solve Proactively: Navigate challenges with a cool head and a strategic lens—resolving issues swiftly while maintaining strong relationships and business continuity.
- Balance & Advocate: Successfully manage the dual expectations of client and agency—advocating for both perspectives while upholding a standard of excellence.
- Anticipate & Mitigate Risk: Spot early signs of relationship friction, scope creep, or misalignment—and escalate with thoughtful solutions to keep things on track.
- Measure & Optimize: Use interpretive and analytical skills to collaborate and evaluate campaign effectiveness, extract insights and recommend performance-enhancing optimizations.
- Lead & Develop Talent: Mentor and guide team members with intention—setting goals, managing priorities and fostering a culture of accountability, learning and high performance.
- Challenge Convention: Identify new ways to streamline operations, challenge stale processes and elevate how work is delivered—internally and externally.
Basic Qualifications
8 – 12 years of agency experience
Bachelor’s Degree
Agriculture and livestock experience/background—either on the agency or client/corporate side
Strong spoken and written communication skills
Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
Ability to work with a variety of colleagues and clients
Work well in a team environment
Desired Experience/Traits
Skilled in building relationships and trust, quickly able to become a client confidant and advisor
Confidence, tact and a persuasive manner
Highly organized with good time management skills
Ability to identify opportunities and present innovative ideas
Strong business acumen with the ability to manage budgets
