Clark Regional Wastewater District is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant 3 to provide professional administrative support within the Operations-Collection area.
This position will support Operations-Collection leadership, field operations, and administrative processes that help keep the District’s collection system operating efficiently and reliably.
Great candidates are highly organized, detail-oriented professionals with strong communication skills and advanced administrative experience supporting busy teams, programs, and projects.
- Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, including word processing, spreadsheet tracking, and proofreading
- Business English, spelling, grammar, and professional correspondence
- Adobe Acrobat and electronic document management
- Records coordination and retention practices
- Procurement, purchasing, contracts, and payment support
- Working collaboratively in an administrative team environment while supporting department managers and staff
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can manage multiple priorities, communicate clearly, maintain confidentiality, and provide reliable support in a fast-paced public utility environment.
Duties include:
- Prepare correspondence, forms, reports, meeting materials, and other communications with general direction
- Use spreadsheets, databases, and other software to maintain, track, retrieve, analyze, and report information
- Provide calendar, meeting, and administrative support to assigned department leadership and staff
- Maintain written and electronic records in accordance with applicable records requirements
- Support purchasing, procurement, contracts, invoices, payment processing, conference registrations, and program coordination
- Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, external agencies, and community partners as needed
- Assist with Operations-Collection administrative processes, including field crew support, work order coordination, records, purchasing, and program support
- Prioritize competing assignments and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
Minimum Qualifications:
- Advanced administrative support experience appropriate to the Administrative Assistant 3 level
- AA degree, business school training, or equivalent related experience desired
Compensation:
- Monthly salary range: $5,254-$6,868
- Starting monthly salary (DOQ): $5,254-$6,007
