Description
Business FunctionGlobal Transaction Services (GTS) comprises of Cash & Trade, Securities Services and Fiduciary Services. In an increasingly borderless world marked by burgeoning trade flow, expertise in trade finance services is an invaluable asset. With cash the lifeblood of every company, so too, is a good understanding of how to manage these cashflows. Trade Finance, together with Cash Management, is the mainstay of GTS, and is extended to SME and corporate clients for their local and cross-border financial transaction needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide innovative working capital solutions for clients and, lead negotiation of complex structures and legal documentation
- Assess risks in deal-specific product deviations and recommend a clear way forward
- Develop product strategy and roadmaps based on thorough market research, customer feedback, and robust financial analysis
- Create effective marketing collateral, sales tools, and training programs to drive product adoption
- Analyze customer usage data and feedback to inform product optimizations and enhancements
- Manage profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities for all products under management
- Manage of credit insurance portfolio as well as liaise with financial institutes for risk distribution opportunities
- Identify new market opportunities and translate them into actionable product requirements
- Initiate platform or system enhancements, ensuring they are thoroughly tested and accompanied by appropriate documentation and processes prior to launch
- Drive ad-hoc projects related to market, jurisdictional, legal, policy, and regulatory changes impacting open account trade products
- University degree holder with minimum 5 years of product management experience, specifically within the trade finance domain
- Strong knowledge of working capital solutions, account receivables purchase, supply chain finance, credit insurance, risk distribution, and third-party platforms
- Experience with legal documentation negotiation. Legal training would be a significant advantage
- Excellent communications, presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical skills and financial acumen
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive results in a matrixed environment, collaborating seamlessly across departments
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and problem-solving
- Solid understanding of credit risk management principles, including effective mitigants and robust control frameworks
- Proficiency in product development lifecycle and methodologies
