Job Description Summary
Scaffold Operations Coordinator (Bilingual Spanish/English)
Are you a construction or scaffold veteran ready to move from the field to the front office?
Sunbelt Rentals is looking for a bilingual Scaffold Operations Coordinator in Wilmington, NC. This isn't a typical "desk job." We need someone who speaks the language of the yard and the job site but has the organizational discipline to manage the backbone of our E&D (Erection & Dismantle) operations.
If you understand the pace of a scaffold project and want to leverage your field knowledge to run a tighter, more efficient office, we want to talk to you.
The Role: Why Your Experience Matters
You will be the "Command Center" for our Scaffold Department, Construction Manager, and Field Crews. Because you understand the industry, you'll know exactly why accurate time-tracking, safety documentation, and labor scheduling are the difference between a successful project and a logistical headache.
Key Responsibilities
- Labor & Scheduling Logistics: Coordinate labor schedules alongside the Construction Manager; keep the lines of communication open between Sales, the Field, and our Customers.
- The "Paperwork" Pro: Manage timesheets, Job Tracker entries, and hourly reconciliations. You know how hard the crews work-ensure their hours are captured perfectly.
- Safety & Onboarding: Use your industry knowledge to lead safety training, track certifications, and manage the onboarding process for new hires.
- Project Support: Perform estimates for labor and materials, maintain job folders, and manage the logistics of job-related tools and supplies.
- The "Language" Double-Threat: You must be fully bilingual (English/Spanish) to effectively communicate with our diverse crews and customers.
- Industry Context: Previous experience in Scaffolding or Construction is highly preferred. We need someone who knows a base plate from a ledger and understands construction timelines.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel is your best friend for tracking hours and materials).
- Reliability: This is an on-site, Monday-Friday (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) role that keeps our Wilmington branch moving.
- Ability to bend, squat, and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Comfortable working in an office environment but willing to step into the yard or site conditions (rain, wind, or heat) when the job requires it.
We are the fastest-growing rental business in North America. We provide a career track, not just a job. If you're looking to get out of the sun and into a role where your field experience makes you the expert in the room, apply today.
Base Pay Range: $20.31 - 27.92
