Alex Vindman for Florida is seeking a Research Director to build and lead the campaign’s research department.

The Research Director is a key member of the leadership team, overseeing the Research Department and working closely with other directors like the Communications Director and Digital Director to craft disciplined and effective programs.
We are looking for someone with strong research skills, attention to detail, who is a responsive, passionate and determined worker with a creative approach to identifying research opportunities, and who has experience working in a fast-paced environment that requires accurate work on tight deadlines. As our Research Director will manage a team of people, we are seeking thoughtful managers excited about building an intentional and dynamic team.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Significant campaign or political experience, with at least two cycles strongly preferred 
• Strong research skills, attention to detail, responsiveness, and passion for the work
• Demonstrated ability to manage staff and run multiple workstreams with competing deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort briefing senior staff and the candidate.
• Strong judgment, discretion, and ability to build trust with high-level stakeholders.
• Spanish proficiency or Florida ties is a plus.
