About the RoleWROC/RochesterFirst is hiring a Supervising Director to join our award-winning team. With the credibility and strength of our 75-year trusted brand, WROC/RochesterFirst is Rochester, NY's universal local source for news, weather, and information across all platforms.
Compensation: $20-21.15/hour commensurate with applicant's experience and skill level.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in communications, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience is preferred
- Management or other work-related experience is preferred
- Experience in news operations and/or production required
Experience
- Experience with cross-platform live streaming is preferred
- Ross OverDrive, ENPS, Adobe Premiere and OBS experience a plus
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills; fluent in English, oral and written
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and computer skills is preferred
