Description
Marketing ExecutiveLocation - London with hybrid working as per departmental requirements (currently a MINIMUM of 40% (2 days per week).

We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive, well-rounded Marketing Executive to help deliver a wide range of marketing and business development activity across the firm. You'll support managers and senior specialists in creating campaigns, content and events that build our profile, engage clients and prospects, and support the firm's commercial goals.
This is a varied and fast-paced role, ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple projects and disciplines. You'll get hands-on experience across events, digital, content, campaign delivery, research, awards and client development programmes - collaborating with experts from PR, design, digital marketing, CRM, sales enablement and more.
No two days will be the same, and you'll have plenty of opportunity to learn, contribute ideas and grow your skills across the full marketing mix.
Your responsibilities
- Work with partners and other members of the BD team to deliver effective marketing and BD plans and activities, using a wide range of tactics and channels
- Execute and support a variety of BD activities, such as events, webinars and podcasts, market research, literature and report production, content drafting, award submissions, internal and external communications, and lead generation
- Ensure effective delivery of projects and tasks including taking briefs, diary management and logistics, follow up, measuring return on investment, and ensuring internal stakeholder buy in at all stages
- Deliver integrated and innovative marketing and sales support campaigns which reach the right audiences with relevant and timely messages
- Draft marketing and sales support materials such as emails, flyers, briefing notes, web copy, brochures, event literature, presentations, social media posts and blogs (working with SMEs and senior colleagues where appropriate)
- Support website updates and publishing of digital content (with training as needed)
- Work with specialists in the team (eg PR, digital, design, CRM, events) and external agencies and suppliers where appropriate to deliver successful results
- Monitor competitor and industry activity
- Support basic campaign measurement and reporting to help the team understand performance and inform future activity
What skills, experience and qualities are we looking for?
- An all-rounder; who understands (or is keen to learn) a wide range of marketing and business development tactics
- A curious proactive marketer who enjoys trying new approaches and making smart use of tools and technology
- Someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced team and enjoys working with marketing specialists to deliver projects. A person who enjoys variety- every day will be different
- A team player, contributes ideas and supports others to achieve their goals
- Understanding of when and how to use a wide variety of tactics from across the marketing mix to increase the external profile of the business which may include events, digital, thought leadership, content, market research, communications, product and message development, client targeting, acquisition and development. Training will be provided as required
- Able to manage multiple projects at once, working calmly and efficiently under pressure
- Excellent project management skills - prioritising, organising workload, planning, seeing project through to completion
- Excellent communication (written and spoken) and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Graduate with 3+ years marketing/ business development experience, preferably within B2B professional or financial services
- An understanding of pensions, investment, insurance, financial or consulting markets would be valuable
- Partnership experience desirable
Software Packages
Required: Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Desirable: Experience and ability to use CRM databases, webinar platforms (ON24 in particular), content management systems and email marketing tools. Basic understanding of design software (ie Adobe) would also be useful.
