Job Summary/Description:
Gray Media (WOIO CBS 19, WUAB Cleveland's 43, WTCL Telemundo Cleveland, and Gray Digital Media) in Cleveland has a rare opening for an energetic, positive-minded Sales Intern. As a paid Intern, you will have an immersive experience where you serve as a valued team member learning the fundamentals of sales and marketing. You will also get a behind-the-scenes look at how a dominant local media organization operates.
The Sales Training Program:
General Responsibilities:
What you'll do:
- Learn how to prospect and identify new business opportunities
- Practice real cold calls (with coaching-not guesswork)
- Build client presentations and proposals
- Support digital and broadcast sales strategies
- Work alongside experienced Media Executives and Sales Leaders
- Participate in weekly training designed to accelerate your growth
- You will assist Sales in building presentations as well as provide client campaign performance reports.
- Ideal candidates have a strong work ethic and organizational skills.
- You should be a quick learner, with strong communication skills and the ability to showcase our solutions/results compellingly.
- MVR check required.

Qualifications:
- Be currently enrolled in a college/university, preferably in your senior year.
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
- College student, junior or senior, earning a degree in Sales, Business, or Broadcasting fields, with a desire to get hands-on experience.

The Intern rate of pay can range from minimum wage in your state to $15 an hour.
