General Management and Operations Associate
The Old Globe seeks a General Management and Operations Associate to provide administrative, operational, and coordination support to the General Manager, Associate General Manager, and other operational department heads in the day-to-day administration of The Old Globe’s operational wing as well as with the coordination and processing of contracts and payments for artistic personnel on mainstage productions.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Assist with processing contracts, letters of agreement, and payments for actors, directors, designers, and creative team members
- Coordinate with Finance and HR to ensure timely hiring, onboarding, and payment of artistic personnel
- Support union reporting, surveys, royalty payments, and production-related documentation
- Serve as administrator for the Globe Safety Committee, including scheduling meetings, taking minutes, and coordinating required safety trainings
- Maintain internal calendars, manage space usage, and assist with event coordination
- Support internal communications, including weekly staff newsletters and updates
- Assist with staff onboarding tasks, site access, badges, business cards, and employee events
- Track Balboa Park events and closures and assist with parking and valet coordination
- Provide front desk and executive assistant coverage as needed

The successful candidate will have the following skills and abilities:
- Experience in arts administration, operations, or production environments preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft office software and scheduling platforms; experience with production management systems a plus.
- Strong administrative, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work a flexible schedule, including evenings and extended hours
Full-Time position with benefits, including 401(k), vacation, health insurance, and holidays. Pay range is $25.00 - $27.00 per hour.
Must be able to pass applicable background check and have a Valid Driver’s License.
