Description
- The FTZ Sr. Implementation Manager is responsible for leading complex software
implementation projects from kickoff through go-live, ensuring high-quality delivery,
client satisfaction, and internal excellence. This role builds on core project delivery
capabilities and emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and continuous improvement
across the implementation team. You will play a key role in developing implementation
best practices, mentoring team members, and driving innovation in how we deliver
value to our clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Leadership
- Lead and manage complex implementation projects involving multiple
stakeholders and cross-functional teams. - Ensure delivery against scope, timeline, and quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with Systems Integration Leads to align technical
delivery with business goals.
Client Engagement
- Act as a trusted partner to clients throughout the implementation
process. - Manage client communications and expectations from planning through
UAT and go-live. - Proactively identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful
outcomes.
Team Development & Mentorship
- Provide guidance and support to Implementation Managers and
Specialists. - Act as a mentor by sharing knowledge, modeling best practices, and
offering feedback to grow team capabilities.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive innovation in implementation methodologies, tooling, and delivery
practices. - Contribute to the refinement of implementation playbooks,
documentation standards, and onboarding materials. - Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement to
enhance team performance and client experience.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related
field, or equivalent technical experience.
- Proficiency with data transformation tools, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load)
processes, and integration platforms. - Strong understanding of system architecture, APIs, and data feed integrations.
- Experience with troubleshooting complex technical issues and resolving data
compatibility challenges. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with technical
and non-technical stakeholders. - Experience working with or demonstrated knowledge of foreign trade zones.
