YOUR ROLE IN CREATING GERONIMOMENTS
In this role, you'll be a key part of our team, ensuring that every guest leaves with a lasting impression. Your voice matters here—use it to build the future, make an impact, and continuously improve the guest experience.
As the Director of Marketing, you are responsible for effectively leading our corporate marketing planning, budgeting and execution of all materials used to promote our product and services across multiple entities. The role includes planning and developing our marketing campaign through website and social media management, public relations, and coordinating events, product development and distribution. This position oversees the corporate's financial marketing commitments including expense budgets and resource allocation to meet our annual goals and objectives.
WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE
- Leads a team accountable for the performance and results of a function, industry and/or region.
- Receives work in the form of objectives and strategically determines how to use resources to meet deadlines and goals.
- Drives a culture of open communication.
- Create a corporate marketing strategy and implementation plan, through public relations and social media, to identify opportunities for brand enhancement for multiple entities.
- Supervise the marketing staff workloads, schedules, and deadlines.
- Produce ideas for promotional events and organizing them efficiently.
- Communicate with managers and staff members to discuss and identify advertising and marketing needs.
- Offer the General Managers creative advice and expertise to develop innovative advertising for events and activities.
- Create a social media strategy that coincides with marketing, PR, and advertising campaigns.
- Keep abreast of social media trends, continuing to refine our social marketing campaign to create a solid brand message that reflects our core values and branding objectives.
- Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote our products and services.
- Responsible for all social media activity (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc…) and managing corporate social media accounts
- Responsible for PR and Marketing events, making sure to be consistent with brand standards and core company values while achieving corporate communications goals.
- Develop, prepare and manage the production of advertising and promotional materials through effective, branded marketing communications including the company website, advertising, print communication, and social medial to increase sales of products or services.
- Responsible for managing all financial aspects of the corporate marketing budget.
- Manage the marketing department, providing guidance and feedback to the marketing staff.
- Provide and lead all third-party content development and updating including, but not limited to, websites, brand development, and marketing materials.

Requirements:
WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field or equivalent or five years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience and/or Training
- 5 years managerial experience.
- Proven experience as a Marketing Director.
- Hospitality experience required.
- Extensive marketing experience with public relations, social media platforms and web design.
- Strong analytical skills including proficiency in research and POS.
- Proven skills, knowledge and experience in planning and implementing marketing, communication and public relations projects.
- Ability to multitask and strong time management and organizational skills to manage multiple entities.
- Strong knowledge of marketing techniques and their application including development of campaigns from inception to delivery.
- Market research experience with product development to market activity.
- Ability to use social media and web applications to support market campaigns.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with a broad-based team made up of managers and staff members during the campaigns, promotions, and marketing process as well as maintain the ability to communicate persuasively to the public.
- Must be able to generate new and creative ideas that make our brand unique to the competition.
- Must be able to manage projects independently, identifying and managing problem areas with the ability to solve problems and make clear, informed decisions.
Technology/Equipment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook; Strong IT skills and understanding of word processing, databases, spreadsheets, web design, social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) and web applications (email, e-marketing, website, etc.).
