Description
Wor-Wic Community College is accepting applications for a full-time dean's associate to provide office support for the dean of enrollment management. This position is responsible for assisting with enrollment management operations, including routine enrollment management data reporting, administrative grievance communications, and ensuring a high-quality student experience. This position may be required to periodically work evenings and weekends, including orientation, registration, outreach events, retention initiatives and the annual commencement.Essential Duties

- Provides office and activities support for the dean of enrollment management and the enrollment management department including typing and preparing correspondence and reports, photocopying/scanning and filing paper and electronic correspondence, reports and documents, generating mailings, entering data, handling incoming telephone calls and making outbound calls; monitors department assessment data entered into assessment system; reconciles the budget and monitors grant budgets; schedules appointments and meetings; takes meeting minutes; assists students across the enrollment management department; and provides coverage for the reception desk and other student affairs areas as needed
- Oversees daily office operational tasks to ensure that students have a high-quality student experience in their interaction with enrollment management staff, including scheduling office coverage and assigning work to the associates as directed to support enrollment management department goals
- Schedules regular proactive messaging to new students regarding new student support and services through the appropriate technology platforms with follow-up as needed
- Assists with enrollment management and student success activities across the division, and takes responsibility for special initiatives as directed
- Collects and maintains records of submitted administrative grievances and add/drop requests and prepares correspondence; tracks and summarizes grievance-related and add/drop information in accordance with established guidelines
- Prepares enrollment management data reports using established formats and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- Associate degree in a relevant field
- Four years of office experience (Bachelor's degree can be substituted for the four years of experience)
- Excellent Microsoft Word and Excel skills
- Excellent database, mathematical, organizational, human relations, teamwork and verbal and written communication skills
- Preference will be given to candidates with bilingual English/Creole skills
Supplemental Information
This is a full-time standard support staff position with an excellent fringe benefits package. The days and hours of work are Mon. - Fri., 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (1 hour lunch). This position may be required to periodically work evenings and weekends, including orientation, registration, outreach events, retention initiatives and the annual commencement. The starting hourly rate for this position will likely range from $25.33 to $31.10 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
