Federal Congressional Campaign – New Jersey (NJ-12)
Location: New Jersey (Hybrid / In-District Preferred)
Start: Immediating 2026 (flexible for the right candidate)
Compensation: Competitive; commensurate with experience
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Campaign Manager to lead a competitive federal congressional campaign in New Jersey. The Campaign Manager will serve as the chief strategist and operational lead, responsible for executing a winning campaign plan from launch through Election Day.
This role requires a seasoned political professional with strong leadership skills, budget discipline, and the ability to manage a fast-paced, high-stakes operation.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the senior manager responsible for overall campaign strategy, operations, and execution
Develop and manage the campaign plan, timeline, and internal benchmarks
Oversee senior staff, consultants, and vendors; ensure alignment across departments
Manage and track the campaign budget in coordination with the Finance Director
Advise the candidate on strategic, political, and operational decisions
Coordinate with legal counsel and compliance vendors to ensure FEC compliance
Serve as the primary point of accountability for campaign performance and outcomes
Qualifications
2+ cycles of senior-level campaign experience (Campaign Manager or Deputy Campaign Manager preferred)
Federal or highly competitive statewide campaign experience strongly preferred
Proven ability to manage staff, budgets, and vendors
Strong political judgment and strategic decision-making skills
Ability to work long hours in a high-pressure environment
Deputy Campaign Manager / Political Director
Federal Congressional Campaign – New Jersey (NJ-12)
Location: New Jersey (Hybrid / In-District Preferred)
Start: January 2026
Compensation: Competitive; commensurate with experience
Overview
The campaign is seeking a Deputy Campaign Manager / Political Director to oversee political strategy, coalition building, and external stakeholder engagement. This role serves as the campaign’s chief political tactician and second-in-command.
Key Responsibilities
Lead political strategy, endorsements, and coalition development
Manage relationships with elected officials, party leaders, labor, advocacy groups, and key stakeholders
Oversee field, volunteer, and grassroots political engagement strategy in coordination with the Field Director
Track political landscape, opposition activity, and district dynamics
Step in for the Campaign Manager as needed and assist with senior decision-making
Support messaging alignment with Communications and Digital teams
Qualifications
Prior experience as a Political Director, Deputy Campaign Manager, or Senior Political Advisor
Strong relationships within New Jersey Democratic political circles preferred
Experience managing coalitions, endorsements, and political outreach
Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills
Finance Director
Federal Congressional Campaign – New Jersey (NJ-12)
Location: Hybrid / Remote with In-District Travel
Start: Immediate – End of Cycle
Compensation: Competitive; commensurate with experience
Overview
The campaign is seeking a Finance Director to build and execute an aggressive, compliant fundraising operation. This role is responsible for driving all fundraising strategy, donor engagement, and call time management.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive finance plan to meet ambitious fundraising goals
Manage candidate call time, donor meetings, and fundraising events
Build and maintain donor lists and tracking systems
Draft fundraising emails, call scripts, and donor communications
Coordinate with compliance vendors to ensure FEC-compliant fundraising
Manage finance staff, consultants, and call time assistants
Qualifications
Prior experience as a Finance Director or Senior Finance Staff on a federal or statewide campaign
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding fundraising goals
Strong organizational and donor-relationship management skills
Familiarity with federal contribution limits and compliance requirements
