Description
Paul Nolley for Congress is hiring a full-time Campaign Manager to join our team in Illinois’ 16th Congressional District. Paul is a citizen-candidate who knows what it's like to work a real job, live paycheck-to-paycheck, and face the challenges of raising a family in today's world. He’s running to defeat an incumbent who has sold out the people of this district by serving the powerful special interests instead of his voters.
This is a full-time, paid position beginning ASAP and running through November 3, 2026. The selected candidate will need to relocate to the greater Rockford region.
Key Duties:
Lead the development and execution of the overall campaign plan, timelines, and benchmarks
Oversee the campaign budget and fundraising program to ensure aggressive and sustainable growth
Directly manage staff: recruit, hire, train, and evaluate campaign personnel
Oversee all filing deadlines and requirements
Track, analyze, and report campaign goals, metrics, and progress to the candidate and stakeholders
Manage and optimize the candidate’s schedule to maximize political and fundraising impact
Serve as the primary point of contact for consultants and oversee all workstreams (polling, mail, digital, field, communications, etc.)
Foster a professional, inclusive, ethical, and high-performing campaign culture
Qualifications:
Previous political campaign or adjacent experience, preferably with strong fundraising experience. An excellent candidate will have managed a campaign previously.
Self-starter who is willing to work irregular hours in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, sharp political instincts, and adept problem-solving skills.
Strong working knowledge of NGP, Numero, ActBlue, and VoteBuilder
Illinois political experience is a plus
Valid driver’s license and willingness to relocate to the district.
Salary Range: $6,000-$7,500/month, dependent on experience
