Description
Secretaries of State are on the front lines of the battle to protect and preserve American
democracy, and Cisco Aguilar is leading the charge. Nevada is a battleground state and has
seen more than its share of undemocratic attacks from the Trump administration and its allied
organizations. Cisco is dedicated to defending every eligible American’s right to vote, removing
barriers to voter participation, and keeping our elections as transparent as possible to maintain
the public trust.
He also knows that kitchen-table issues will be vitally important in 2026; that’s why he’s spent
years making it easier than ever to do business in Nevada, cutting red tape and helping small
business owners get access to important services. Cisco also serves as the Chair of the
Democratic Association of Secretaries of State, helping defend democracy all across the
country.
After a strong first term in office where he passed important legislation to protect election
workers and the voting rights of Nevadans, Cisco is running again to ensure elections remain
fair and free in 2028 and beyond.
