Campaign Manager – Local Campaign (Bay Area)
The Campaign Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of a local political campaign in the Bay Area. This role is responsible for developing and executing the campaign plan, managing staff and volunteers, overseeing the budget, and coordinating field, communications, and fundraising efforts. The Campaign Manager works closely with the candidate to set strategy, track progress toward goals, and ensure compliance with all local and state election laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement overall campaign strategy and timeline
- Manage staff, consultants, and volunteers
- Oversee budget, fundraising goals, and reporting
- Coordinate field operations, voter outreach, and GOTV efforts
- Work with communications team on messaging, media, and digital strategy
- Serve as primary liaison between candidate and campaign team
Qualifications:
- Experience managing or working on local or regional political campaigns
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Familiarity with Bay Area political landscape and voter demographics
- Ability to work long and irregular hours in a fast-paced environment
