Description
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Business Strategy and Management team for Markets Asset Servicing (MAS) and Securities Post Trade Controls & Analytics.As a Business Strategy and Management Senior Associate within the Markets Asset Servicing (MAS) team you will be providing asset servicing support for Markets and Wealth Management, covering corporate actions, income processing, dividend reinvestments, proxy, and class actions with emphasis on risk, control, process efficiency, and first class client service. You will ensure that all trade settlements, reconciliation and asset servicing activities adheres to regulatory and internal standards. Leveraging data and analytics, you will monitor operational risks, identifies process inefficiencies, and provides actionable insights to drive continuous improvement. You will be a trusted partner to the function, driving organization effectiveness, fostering alignment on financial targets, and advancing strategic initiatives through a centralized and transparent framework.
Job responsibilities
- Support the Global Head of Markets Asset Services and Securities Post Trade Controls & Analytics in developing and executing business strategies, ensuring alignment across teams and functions.
- Support critical projects and initiatives, ranging from operational efficiency, resourcing strategy, change management, leadership off-sites, and annual planning.
- Build strong credibility with senior leaders, preparing presentations, reports, and communications.
- Conduct research, analyse data, and provide insights to inform decision-making.
- Collaborate across departments, ensuring information flow and alignment on priorities.
- Handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in business management, change management, consulting, or a related field. Alternatively, experience in risk and controls or asset servicing operations.
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to assimilate broad-ranging information quickly and able to distil into key points.
- High level of integrity and discretion.
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and process re-engineering skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills; able to build partnerships across Operations, Technology, Audit, and Compliance.
- Proactive/self-starter with a commitment to delivering value-added support to business partners.
