The Associate Director of Student Accessibility Services supports the daily operations and core programs of Student Accessibility Services, working collaboratively to ensure consistent, student-centered delivery of academic accommodations. Reporting to the Director of Student Accessibility Services, this role works closely with students, faculty, and campus partners to support access, compliance, and positive student experiences.
- Support the day-to-day operations of Student Accessibility Services, including strategic learning coaching, accommodated testing, and student case management.
- Oversee the Strategic Learning Strategies (SLS) Coaching Program, including coach supervision, training, and program coordination.
- Provide direct coaching support to students, as appropriate, and collaborate with campus partners to promote student engagement.
- Oversee daily operations of the SAS Testing Center, including exam scheduling, staffing, and communication with faculty.
- Ensure exams are administered in accordance with approved accommodations and institutional procedures.
- Conduct student intake meetings, review disability documentation, and determine reasonable accommodations in accordance with ADA and Section 504.
- Manage an assigned caseload of undergraduate and graduate students and coordinate the implementation of academic accommodations.
- Participate on the Care Team and collaborate with campus partners to support students with complex needs.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in Accommodate in compliance with FERPA and institutional policies.
- Support a responsive, student-centered office operation, including supervision of student staff and management of shared communications.
- Assist with monitoring compliance and addressing accommodation-related concerns through consultation and problem-solving.
- Support university-wide student success initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, disability services or similar field required; Master's degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience working with students with disabilities in an educational setting, preferably at the post-secondary level.
- Excellent communication skills, coupled with good judgment, essential.
- Microsoft Office and general computer and systems skills.
- Familiarity with effective accommodations and supports for college students with disabilities.
- Experience in developing and executing ADA guidelines and upholding Federal law as it applies to the student and institution.
- Team player with excellent consulting skills and a fun, but professional presence required.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in reading and interpreting medical documentation to ensure the appropriate accommodations are being made for the student to utilize while attending Clark.
- Demonstrated technical expertise and passion for customer service and problem-solving.
- Ability to assess and analyze data to assist the Director of SAS in creating reports to measure outcomes and effectiveness.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with people and campus partners.
- Ability to set priorities, juggle several projects at once, and know what needs to be done when.
Additional Information:
Expected Hiring Range: $59,700 - $69,600

The compensation for this position will be determined based on factors that include available budget, internal equity, and the selected candidate's qualifications, experience, education, and other job-related credentials. This range represents Clark University's good-faith estimate of the expected hiring range at the time of posting consistent with Clark's compensation philosophy and internal alignment.
