About the Job

The Marketing Department at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management is seeking applications for an Assistant Professor of Marketing (Quantitative) with an appointment start date of August 2022.

Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate must be willing and able to contribute to or participate in rank-appropriate ways in teaching (undergraduate and graduate), research, serving on committees, mentoring, and community service in the Marketing Department and affiliated programs.

The Carlson School Marketing Department is among the top in the world in research in terms of research productivity and research impact.  The marketing department provides a very supportive and collegial environment in which to grow professionally. The marketing department houses the Institute for Research in Marketing, which helps disseminate the faculty research into the wider community. IRM’s advisory board consists of senior level marketing executives from many Fortune 500 companies across multiple industries.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

All candidates must at minimum have a doctoral degree in Marketing or a related discipline in hand or near completion by the start of fall 2022. Candidates must be able to demonstrate authorization to work in the United States at the University of Minnesota by the start date.

Successful candidates will have a strong commitment to high quality research, teaching and service commensurate with their experience.
