Position Summary | Works closely with the Head Golf Professional and other Assistant Professionals to run all facets of the Golf Operation, with a primary focus on the outsider service or "Member Service" operation. This includes day to day responsibilities and procedures established in managing tee sheet, bag room and cart barn. Works closely with fellow employees by providing support, leading by example and promoting and nurturing customer relations to enhance the quality of the golf experience.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Proficient in golf hospitality
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, members, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Proficient in spreadsheet and word processing applications.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
No requirements necessary - recommended affiliation with the PGA of America.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Facilitate all Member or Outside Service responsibilities, including all daily procedures related to the management of member play and supervision of all outside service staff.
- Responsible for learning all aspects of the tee time system (Club Essential)
- Complete opening and closing check lists, ensure all outside staff under your supervision are completing checklists daily
- Manage cart barn and supervise cart barn staff. This includes: member club storage, new 54 cart fleet, 4 finn scooters, club repair station, driving range operations station.
- Ensure all staff under your superision are upholding club standards and expectations. Time management, ensuring staff are arriving and leaving on time. Uniform management, ensuring all staff are in provided uniform at ALL times. Lead by example, ensure staff are present and engaging with members and their guests.
- Assist in assuring good communication between the inside staff and outside services. Works closely with the Assistants to ensure that every member and guests expectations are exceeded through the Golf Shop and play management.
- Assist on all tournament activities when asked and administration of daily, major, corporate and special events
- Be knowledgeable of products in the shop and offerings that are available.
- Enhance a customer serve orientated atmosphere that promotes the game of golf and meets the needs of the membership. Anticipating potential problems & opportunities with a problem solving approach.
- Assists the Head Professional, by working closely with other departments and especially the golf course superintendent, food & beverage, and club house staff regarding communications and initiatives required to meet service and operational objectives.
- Works with the Head Professional and Assistants to ensure information is flowing properly between inside and outside operations
- Actively seek to learn how to be affective in providing great Customer Service, through knowing position and actively participating in the improvement of processes.
- Practices safe work habits and teach other staff to do the same.
- Able to effectively handle multiple tasks.
- Model a professional, ethical and respectful behavior at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
