Essential Responsibilities
The Assistant Golf Professional serves a key role within the golf operation. This role is central to delivering a first-class experience for members and guests by enhancing the women's golf and tournament programs, elevating the retail operation, growing the game through private instruction and group clinics - junior and women's, and leading our marketing and communications efforts. The position provides experience and development opportunities necessary for progression toward elevated year-round Assistant Golf Professional, Director of Retail/Golf Shop Manager, and/or Head Golf Professional or Director of Golf roles.
- Assist with all facets of the retail operation by providing high-end service in the Golf Shop by greeting customers, aiding in their shopping experience, maintaining visually appealing displays, and restocking merchandise as needed.
- Provide private and group instruction, Coach Foxes Den, Golf & Tennis, and assist with the development of the junior golf program.
- Add energy to and enhance the weekly women's golf and tournament programs.
- Lead our team's marketing and communications efforts.
- Elevate member and guest experiences during Professional on duty shifts that include coordinating daily play, ensuring proper billing, managing caddies alongside the caddie master, monitoring pace of play, giving appropriate attention to the practice facilities, and working alongside the Golf Services team.
- Uphold the Club's traditions, service standards, and professional values.
- Serve as an ambassador of the club throughout the local, regional and national golf communities.

- 5 Day - 40 hour work week
- PGA & GBN dues covered in full
- Education or professional development is encouraged, reimbursement of costs to be approved by Head Golf Professional.
- Playing and practice privileges for yourself only.
- Guest privileges based on club employee golf policies, with special requests approved by the Head Golf Professional.
- Meals will be provided while on duty.
- The Head Golf Professional will work with vendors to provide you complimentary uniforms.
- You will also receive an additional $250 allowance at wholesale from the golf shop for items that are intended to be worn as uniforms.
- On property housing is available to you at no additional cost.
