The primary project focus will be the Senior Class Gift program and corresponding social media accounts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Digital Content Creation and Management

• Develop a comprehensive social media plan for student-facing Instagram and Tik Tok accounts to promote the Senior Class Gift (SCG) program initiatives, philanthropy education, and events.
• Assist with video editing and photography for social media content in collaboration with the digital and communication teams.
• Create engaging and visually appealing content for the social accounts, using Canva and other content creation tools.
• Proofread and edit social media posts to ensure accuracy and professionalism.
• Manage and maintain the SCG Instagram and Tik Tok accounts on a weekly basis.

Student Philanthropy and Event Planning

• Brainstorm new ways to encourage students to make a gift, including participating in Senior Class Gift events, initiatives and programs.
• Assist in planning and executing all student philanthropy events.
• Develop marketing and promotional strategies around SCG and student philanthropy initiatives.

Annual Giving Initiatives

• Assist with projects as needed to support Development Operations teams related to special events, stewardship, gift processing, and prospect research.
• Conduct research and benchmark higher education industry trends and strategies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree completed or in progress preferred
• Experience with social media management tools, including Canva, Instagram and Tik Tok
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office/365 tools
• Advanced organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Must be a problem-solver, self-starter and capable of finding solutions with minimal oversight
• Ability to work with and discuss confidential matters
